Seeking a versatile Software Engineer to rapidly prototype hardware and software systems for defense-oriented Warfighter Systems. •Rapidly prototype hardware and software prototypes, including 3D printing and hardware fixturing; develop software in C++ and Python across evolving hardware, firmware, and higher-level application layers.
•Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to bring groundbreaking ideas to life and demonstrate potential to internal and external stakeholders.
•Formulate and implement software architectures for prototypes on short timescales, prioritizing flexibility and clarity.
•Drive bring-up, validation, and calibration of sensors, optimizing performance and integration into prototypes.
•Produce lightweight, clear technical documentation (overviews, purpose, usage) for prototypes to facilitate understanding and handover.
