Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall technical direction and coordinate marine engineering and design work per project execution plans, procedures, and standards.
  • •Operate the Marine Engineering Specialists group to deliver work quality and timing within established work-hour budgets.
  • •Lead concept, front-end, and detailed design of port infrastructure and coastal engineering projects.
  • •Prepare and review design drawings and supporting calculations; coordinate with other disciplines during design.
  • •Coordinate permitting approvals with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Qualified Persons) and provide construction support.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or postgraduate in Coastal and Marine Engineering with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience designing and delivering coastal and harbour infrastructure such as piled jetties/trestles, dolphins, sheet piles, and quay walls.
  • •Experience in detailed design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • •Knowledge of foreshore requirements and liaison with local authority (e.g., MPA).
  • •Experience handling and reviewing marine studies and familiarity with relevant design codes (e.g., BS6349, EC2, EC3, EC7).
