Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform unit-level aircraft engine maintenance and service on engine system/subsystem components.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions and repair CH-47 engine systems using operator and technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures.
  • •Conduct aircraft engine operational checks; test, troubleshoot, and repair engines using test sets and diagnostic equipment.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and synchronize maintenance activities with designated organizations to meet platform operational readiness (OR) rates.
  • •Maintain aviation records, comply with maintenance quality processes, and provide OJT, coaching, and mentoring as needed.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •8 years’ experience as an aircraft engine mechanic, including 2 years within the last 5 years.
  • •Successfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces.
  • •Engine Technician course or civilian equivalent training.
  • •Proficient with computer-hosted interactive technical manuals and aviation maintenance management documentation.
  • •Must be a US Citizen and have a HS diploma or GED equivalent.
