Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and analyze regulatory compliance issues for WellCare and/or delegated subcontractors’ corporate ethics and compliance program.
  • •Conduct focused reviews, audits, and ongoing monitoring to assess compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • •Assess new and amended government-sponsored health care program contracts and requirements.
  • •Evaluate the effectiveness of market/shared services/delegated subcontractor compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • •Prepare accurate written oversight and monitoring reports and ensure workpapers meet standards and evidentiary requirements; follow up on corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an Associates with 4 years of applicable experience, or HSD/GED with 5 years of applicable experience in lieu of Bachelor’s.
  • •3+ years of experience in Managed Care/Health Insurance.
  • •Preferred 1+ year experience in project oversight, with ability to drive implementation and influence others.
  • •Preferred 1+ year experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting State and Federal laws, rules and regulations.
  • •Preferred 1+ year experience in State Medicaid or Federal managed care compliance.
