Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems across mechanisms, control systems, sensors, and related subsystems.
  • •Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts and perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of engineering problems.
  • •Lead design reviews, manage vendor interactions and market research, and define and execute hardware test plans.
  • •Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
  • •Support hardware demonstrations with customers and travel to test sites as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of electrical/design experience in a professional setting.
  • •Experience in PCB design and using ECAD tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD).
  • •Hands-on prototyping skills such as soldering, board assembly, and harnessing.
  • •Experience with controls/actuation, robotics, and/or motor/servo drive systems (e.g., BLDC/brushed motor controller and servo control).
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
