Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead R&D decision-making for new resin solutions and alternatives using materials science expertise.
  • •Execute technology scouting and sustainability innovation, with focus on increasing PCR usage in RPSNAB products.
  • •Manage timelines and budgets for material development programs aligned to business objectives.
  • •Oversee resin trials and specify/approve lab work requests, including sign-off on resin/process configurations and qualification oversight.
  • •Provide technical guidance to engineering and manufacturing, and support business units with business cases for resin/barrier solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •8-10+ years of relevant experience plus a degree in material science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • •Master’s Degree or PhD in a materials-related discipline preferred.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in plastics conversion technologies, including extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding (ISBM desired).
  • •Strong knowledge of injection and blow molding process impacts and materials such as PET, PP, and HDPE.
  • •Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining effective program management practices in a corporate R&D setting.
