Job Summary

Commission and test complex audio-visual systems during and after build, partnering with the Project Manager to deliver documented system test results. Read schematics and blueprints, verify point-to-point functionality, troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems, and install control programs with upload/download capability. Configure IP addressable devices, write and fine-tune DSP code for optimal performance, provide client training, complete punchlists, and support job-site travel as needed.

•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and verify point-to-point system functionality.
•Review project Scope of Work (SOW) for installation quality and completeness.
•Troubleshoot and fine-tune AMX/Crestron and DSP systems, including field installation of control programs with upload/download capability.
•Configure IP addressable devices, write code for DSP systems, lead client training, complete documentation and punchlists, and coordinate job-site travel as required.

•Proficient with test and calibration equipment and support user acceptance testing.
•Have minor programming capability for AMX/Crestron changes and troubleshooting.
•Ability to diagnose complex audio, video, and control system problems, including advanced signal flow knowledge.
•Hold a valid driver’s license; able to climb/work from ladders up to 35 feet and lift tools/equipment.
