Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the accountable governance representative for assigned business functions, ensuring data and AI risks are managed and governance requirements are met within service levels.
  • •Review data and AI initiatives for submission completeness and compliance, identify privacy/security/data quality/model/legal/regulatory/ethical/operational risks, and coordinate expert reviews and risk acceptance/escalations.
  • •Advise executives and initiative owners on governance risks, options, trade-offs, and required controls, including recommending pausing or modification when requirements aren’t met.
  • •Ensure accurate, complete, high-quality governance records and validate that required controls are implemented, operating effectively, supported by evidence, and remediated through closure.
  • •Design and continuously improve AI-enabled stewardship agents, standardize governance inputs/evidence/taxonomies/decision criteria, and drive organizational transformation and business readiness through training and governance forums.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • •Relevant experience in data governance, AI governance, risk management, privacy, compliance, cybersecurity, model risk, technology governance, product governance, or a related field.
  • •Working knowledge of data and AI lifecycle concepts and governance risks, including interpreting policies/standards/controls and coordinating remediation with evidence.
  • •Hands-on experience reviewing, developing, testing, or governing machine learning, predictive AI, generative AI, or agentic AI solutions.
  • •Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to provide credible challenge and executive-ready guidance.
