Job Summary

Lead backend engineering efforts by managing a team of senior and junior engineers. Own hiring coordination with the Backend Division Manager, guide requirements analysis and software design, and drive projects to meet deadlines. Coordinate across other team leaders, assess capabilities to assign the right tasks, and leverage strong hands-on backend skills using C++, Python, PHP, C++ frameworks, and Postgres/MySQL. Deploy and support services on Linux, using Docker and Git.

•Coordinate hiring for team members with the Backend Division Manager.
•Lead requirements analysis and software design with your team.
•Manage projects and meet deadlines using team resources.
•Collaborate with other team leaders to coordinate overlapping workstreams and assign team members to tasks based on capability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or computer engineering.
•Minimum 5 years of experience.
•Proficiency in programming with C++, Python, PHP and similar scripting languages.
•Experience building applications with C++ frameworks and Postgres and/or MySQL.
•Good command of Linux OS and basic administration skills; strong project management and leadership skills.
