Key Responsibilities

•Set up equipment, chemicals, and supplies for chemistry, physics, and biology labs at junior and senior levels under teacher guidance.
•Prepare molar solutions, standard solutions, buffer solutions, chemical indicator and biological stain solutions, and perform titrations to verify concentrations.
•Ensure safe work environments by complying with regulations for hazardous materials handling and waste disposal procedures.
•Clean hazardous spills (e.g., mercury, acids, and acids/bases) and administer first aid related to chemical accidents as required.
•Maintain and repair lab equipment (e.g., electroscopes and ray boxes) and properly sterilize equipment and clean glassware.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in a classroom setting.
•Experience in a similar science technician role is desired.
•Good levels of written and spoken English.
•Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students.
•Ability to work well as part of a team.
