Key Responsibilities

  • •Own machine learning and applied AI modeling end-to-end, converting agent telemetry into detections, risk scores, and behavioral baselines.
  • •Build classification from runtime telemetry and behavioral threat detection, helping decide whether an AI agent can run inside regulated enterprises.
  • •Use LLMs to bridge security intent to machine-enforceable policy.
  • •Serve as the AI/ML voice in architecture decisions across the telemetry pipeline, product features/roadmap, model deployment and versioning, and A/B testing in production.
  • •Design ML systems on top of existing data infrastructure and collaborate as part of a flat, high-autonomy engineering team reporting to the CTO.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional ML engineering experience, including at least two years building and deploying production ML systems.
  • •Strong fundamentals in classical machine learning (e.g., gradient-boosted trees, regression/classification, evaluation, feature engineering, class imbalance, noisy labels).
  • •Experience with anomaly detection or time-series modeling in adjacent domains (e.g., fraud detection, observability, recommendation systems, fault detection).
  • •Hands-on experience using LLMs for applied tasks beyond chatbots (e.g., function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation).
  • •Python and the standard ML ecosystem (scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, pandas), plus comfort with large-scale telemetry data tools (ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Spark, or equivalent).
