Job Summary

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the BAE Systems Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program, supporting sustainment and capability growth in Williamtown, NSW. Work across Mechanical, Avionics, and Armament trades—handling hydraulic, pneumatic, propulsion, and environmental systems; diagnosing avionics faults; and maintaining emergency escape, egress, and weapon systems. Ensure work is executed to authorised technical data, technical publications, and regulatory airworthiness standards.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Mechanical trade: maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems and related components to airworthiness requirements.
•Avionics trade: diagnose and maintain avionics and integrated aircraft electrical systems.
•Armament trade: maintain emergency escape, egress, and aircraft weapon systems, including computers on board to stores.
•Maintain compliance with technical publications and certification requirements for the program.

Key Requirements

•Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent (mandatory).
•Be an Australian citizen (mandatory).
•Be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and comply with ITAR (mandatory).
•Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset.
•Be able to work in high-performance team environments.
