Key Responsibilities

  • •Influence system architecture, device selection, and compliance approaches for fire detection and alarm solutions during early project stages.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with fire consultants, M&E consultants, consulting engineers, architects, and design houses to create protected specifications.
  • •Identify and track early-stage and pre-tender projects; convert design engagement into specification opportunities through tender stage and installation continuity.
  • •Act as a technical authority on system selection, cause-and-effect philosophy, network design, and compliance interpretation (e.g., BS 5839-1 and relevant EN standards).
  • •Log specification intelligence in CRM and deliver reporting (pipeline value, win rate, and named/protected specification status) while providing seminars/CPDs and support to integrators and sales teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Technician, bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering (or justifyable equivalent education).
  • •2–5 years of experience in Commercial & Institutional (C&I) building projects.
  • •Experience working with building services consultants and fire detection equipment.
  • •Ability to operate effectively in a remote working environment with self-discipline and time management.
  • •Strong analytical thinking, communication, relationship building, and objection handling.
