Job Summary

Lead planning, integration, and execution of lab, ground, and flight system testing for Boeing AWACS programs within the Boeing Test & Evaluation team in Oklahoma City. Provide technical leadership and coaching to develop a team of engineers and mission systems operators. Drive integrated program execution with stakeholders, manage staffing and resource planning, and use Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk management to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality test outcomes while ensuring process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and coach engineers and mission systems operators through technical guidance, performance management, mentoring, and career development.
•Plan, integrate, and execute lab, ground, and flight tests while ensuring compliance with engineering processes and customer requirements.
•Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and deliver safe, efficient, high-quality test outcomes.
•Manage staffing, resource planning, workload balancing, and Earned Value Management (EVM) to meet current and future business needs.
•Identify, assess, develop, and mitigate technical, schedule, and program risks; support disciplined, data-driven decisions throughout the test program lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship requirement for program access.
•Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/engineering technology or related fields (or non-US equivalent directly related).
•At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross-functional program/project management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing’s “Exploring Leadership” course.
•Experience in developmental, certification, or operational test environments (ground test, flight test, or integrated test campaigns).
•Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), program execution, or Integrated Scheduling, plus Systems Engineering processes.
