Key Responsibilities

•Source new mortgage loan business from leads generated inside and outside the bank and through marketing activities.
•Take and review loan applications; provide document lists to support application information.
•Discuss mortgage facts and issues with applicants related to ability to repay, bank credit policy, and underwriting documentation.
•Originate eligible mortgage loans and meet minimum production expectations (monthly and 90-day rolling average).
•Oversee customer experience end-to-end from origination and analysis through loan closing while adhering to lending standards, policies, and legal requirements.

Key Requirements

•3 to 5 years of prior mortgage banking experience with knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, and VA.
•High school graduate or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).
•Knowledge of bank consumer mortgage lending policies, procedures, and guidelines.
•Understanding of financial analysis and determination of creditworthiness; NMLS certified.
•Excellent communication and public relations skills with solid interviewing and financial analytical abilities.
