Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate materials, properties, and manufacturing techniques from a reliability standpoint for AMAT and suppliers.
  • •Analyze non-conformance and failure-rate data, prioritize Q&R projects, and prepare management reports using advanced analytics.
  • •Review engineering change requests for Quality and Reliability (Q&R) impact and develop/update quality and reliability standards aligned to customer expectations.
  • •Design and implement inspection/testing methods, reliability test plans, and failure analysis; drive 8D and failure analysis projects to implementation.
  • •Perform FMECA, document CRAMS (component reliability), support CRAMS test plans with suppliers and design engineers, and develop reliability growth models and ERAMS test plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •5+ years of experience in quality and reliability (Q&R) engineering (or equivalent semiconductor equipment and metrology experience).
  • •Strong reliability concepts knowledge, including DFR and failure analysis.
  • •Experience with quality/reliability standards and inspection/testing methods for components and assemblies.
  • •Ability to use structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D to analyze and implement solutions.
