Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead root cause analysis of complex defect and abnormality issues (e.g., unknown OOC, high repeat issues).
  • •Enhance trend monitoring and early abnormality detection using SPC and large-scale data analysis.
  • •Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvement activities, define priorities, and execute resource allocation based on quantified impact (Wafer at Risk, Yield, Cycle Time, WIP).
  • •Prevent and contain excursions through early detection and rapid response, driving escalation and proactive decision-making.
  • •Lead optimization of CPM and monitoring capabilities, promote automation/rule-based systems and data integration, and mentor junior engineers while standardizing best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in Japanese for reading, writing, and communication; ability to communicate effectively in English in a global environment.
  • •Experience in quality control or continuous improvement in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
  • •Proven experience identifying root causes and driving improvements using data analysis.
  • •Experience using data analysis tools such as JMP, Python, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • •Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
