Job Summary

Work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build, repair, and test multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You’ll perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, audits for part availability and defects, and testing using fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps. Complete documentation, enter progress and work details, and may install software or perform basic programming to continuously improve processes while following all safety standards.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders and diagrams.
•Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs, identifying and correcting errors.
•Maintain a secure, safe, clean work environment and promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies.
•Test assemblies and components using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps; enter progress and work expense/labor details.
•Receive parts, conduct audits for required parts and defects, inspect finished work, and troubleshoot and improve processes.

Key Requirements

•Has developed analytical skills and can apply scientific methods to a variety of activities.
•Uses routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to build, repair, and/or test equipment.
•Follows safety standards and completes required health and safety training.
•Recognizes and solves typical problems in their work area using established procedures and/or scientific methods.
•Uses communication skills to exchange information with others.
