Job Summary

Work with the TETRA Hardware Electrical Engineering team to design and develop electrical sub-systems for mission-critical communications products. Support detailed analog/digital circuit and RF component work, power management, and signal/power integrity analysis. Collaborate with hardware/software integration teams using microcontrollers and DSPs, perform simulation and DFSS-based optimization, and correlate simulation with experimental data to improve design confidence.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop electrical sub-systems for mission-critical communications products.
•Create detailed designs for analog/digital circuitry, power management systems, and RF components.
•Support hardware/software integration activities involving microcontrollers and DSPs requiring coordinated controls.
•Perform engineering analysis for design optimization using circuit simulation, signal/power integrity analysis, and mathematical modeling.
•Correlate simulation and experimental results to validate and optimize design approaches using the DFSS framework.

•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
•Familiar with Python and able to apply core programming concepts to real-world projects or lab assignments.

•Minimum 3-month internship period with availability to start in September.
