Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a market launch end to end, from entry decision through the point the business runs without you.
  • •Manage local regulatory and legal processes for license expansion or transfer in coordination with legal.
  • •Define and execute the operationalization strategy for each market, including how technology, team, and systems are deployed locally.
  • •Identify and solve blockers to quick market launch; detect missing licenses, gaps, and remediations early.
  • •Coordinate and drive a 100-day plan for each market, including workstream owners, sequencing, reporting cadence, and escalation path, and hire/ramp key local roles.

Key Requirements

  • •6 to 10 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity operations, or an operating role in a regulated fintech or payments business.
  • •Ability to independently write high-quality formal documents and represent Rain in high-stakes meetings with regulators, investors, partners, and customers.
  • •Strong business and tech acumen to work through complexity across pricing, tech, legal, and compliance and identify what matters amid noise.
  • •Project management experience driving complex projects to completion when task owners don’t directly report to you.
  • •Communication and practicality: get things done quickly, deliver high output, and show intellectual curiosity by going deep on non-obvious technical topics.
