Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean out and remove debris from vehicle interiors, including ashtrays, consoles, dashboards, door panels, seats, and trunk/engine compartments.
  • •Remove license plates and stickers, and any writing from windows (except relevant Auction business items).
  • •Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment and apply chemicals to power-wash engine compartment and clean battery terminals.
  • •Detail and protect vehicles by cleaning/dressing trim, buffing, waxing, and applying compound/cleaner/polish to interior and exterior painted surfaces.
  • •Vacuum, scrub, shampoo, and spot clean upholstery and carpet; follow safety procedures and perform other assigned duties including occasional sale-day driving/staging tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • •Generally less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Previous detail shop or buffing experience helpful.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift 1–30 pounds, with required vision abilities (close, distance, color, depth perception).
