Join the Data-E-commerce team to research and build machine learning systems for TikTok’s recommendation and search experiences. You’ll help develop large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms (including live stream and short video recommendations), build user interest models, and apply ML to improve search ranking, natural language/video understanding, and trust and safety. You’ll also contribute to supporting technologies like product knowledge graphs and risk control algorithms.

•Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning algorithms such as retrieval and recommendation.

•Develop long and short term user interest models and design algorithms to explore latent interests from large datasets.
•Apply machine learning to improve business scenarios including search ranking, natural language understanding, and video understanding.
•Use machine learning for trust and safety, including risk control and content safety to identify malicious sellers/influencers and violations.

Key Requirements

•Completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

•Exceptional coding skills with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
•Proficiency in Linux development environments.
