Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of project cost estimates from conceptual phase through execution (MEP specialization is an asset).
  • •Analyze bids and proposals to help clients achieve best value for money, using negotiation techniques and strategies.
  • •Participate in value engineering and provide advice on life-cycle costing and sustainability considerations.
  • •Support project budget monitoring and cost control, including financial analyses, variance monitoring, and reporting to clients/stakeholders.
  • •Prepare, review, and administer tenders, contracts, and purchase orders; support contractor and supplier payment review and processing.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating across all project phases, plus cost management or project controls (construction industry preferred).
  • •University degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Fluent in French (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills for teams and stakeholders outside Quebec.
  • •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tracking/reporting tools.
  • •Knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and purchasing processes; experience with CCDC or FIDIC contract forms is an asset.
