Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cementing job designs including preliminary calculations, computer simulations, fluid system design, lab test coordination, and test-result review/approval.
  • •Provide operational expertise and well-site technical support by verifying job design inputs and engineering tools.
  • •Conduct post-job analysis and implement agreed improvements to optimize subsequent jobs.
  • •Collaborate with customer drilling/production engineers and Halliburton teams to tailor solutions and sell new technologies/processes.
  • •Forecast chemical and casing equipment needs, verify resources and regulatory requirements, and mentor junior Cementing Team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline required.
  • •Minimum of 12 months experience learning cementing operations, job design and technical solutions.
  • •Use cementing knowledge to develop job designs and perform preliminary job calculations and risk assessments.
  • •Run computer simulations, design fluid systems, submit lab test requests, and review/approve test results.
  • •Independently perform post-job analysis and recommend/implement improvements for subsequent jobs.
