Job Summary

Own go-to-market strategy for targeted industry sectors within CCB, driving investment banking and capital markets outcomes for privately held clients. Partner with local commercial banking teams to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships, supported by industry research, prospect lists, and customized content. Provide market commentary on competitive landscapes and complex financing needs while coordinating with risk, investment banking, and capital markets partners.

•Develop and gain internal buy-in for sales strategy for assigned industries within CCB.
•Build and foster new and existing business relationships by providing sales, research, and targeted prospect lists to local relationship managers.
•Actively call on clients and prospects in specialized industries with local banking partners; drive consistency in the sales approach.
•Generate customized industry-specific content and insights, and provide market commentary and competitive landscape views.
•Partner with risk, investment banking, and capital markets teams to identify risks and facilitate delivery of investment banking/capital markets solutions for complex financing needs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of demonstrated work experience with expert knowledge in the respective industry, banking, and complex risk situations.
•7+ years of direct sales experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, or Capital Markets.
•Successful track record growing business and delivering sales results through a distributed and matrixed model.
•Direct engagement with business owners and C-Suite executives; ability to deliver persuasive written and verbal communications.
•Maintains an extensive network of industry contacts and proven ability to monetize industry knowledge.
