Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain production schedules for manufacturing and assembly areas, including entering jobs and measuring schedule attainment.
  • •Attend the plant daily flash meeting, report concerns, and facilitate daily flow board reviews.
  • •Create and update short- and long-term production plans using daily/weekly netting file updates.
  • •Monitor customer releases and forecasts and adjust schedules based on demand changes, equipment downtime, material shortages, quality concerns, or other disruptions.
  • •Maintain accurate production planning data within ERP/MRP systems and track KPIs such as schedule attainment, inventory levels, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience (required).
  • •Minimum of 3 years of materials scheduling experience in a Tier 1 automotive facility (preferred).
  • •Experience working with OEM customer releases and demand schedules (preferred).
  • •Minimum of 1 year experience with supplier planner/ordering (preferred).
  • •Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and with MRP systems (PLEX experience required); strong problem resolution and attention to detail required.
