Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance such as changing oil/oil filters/fuel filters, transmission flush, and inspecting vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Based on certification levels, perform repairs and maintenance including brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, electrical systems, engine and drive line components, and State Safety Inspections.
  • •Maintain a clean and safe shop area, dispose of fluids safely, and follow safety standards.
  • •Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs (e.g., drivability, emissions, steering/suspension, electrical, maintenance services).
  • •Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs, create/maintain vehicle history and maintenance records, and provide roadside assistance as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
  • •3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
  • •Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • •Must meet physical requirements for standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and tolerating excess noise, exhaust, and outdoor weather conditions.
