Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and iterate on mission, behavior, and motion planners for autonomous ground support equipment in airport airside environments.
  • •Make key technical decisions across the planning stack, including algorithm selection, interface definition, and overall architecture.
  • •Prototype and evaluate planning approaches (optimization-based, search-based, and learning-augmented pipelines) and bring improvements to production.
  • •Collaborate with perception, controls, localization, and systems engineering teams to deliver an integrated autonomous driving system.
  • •Establish software development, functional safety, and systems engineering best practices for the planning domain; mentor engineers through technical guidance and design discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing planning modules for autonomous systems deployed in real-world operations.
  • •Strong programming skills in C++ (preferred) or Python, with experience on Linux-based operating systems.
  • •Ability to take ambiguous technical problems and drive them to well-architected solutions independently.
  • •Excellent communication skills, proactiveness, and strong sense of ownership.
