Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the global technical lead for AMHS operational governance across Micron manufacturing sites and drive alignment/standardization of wafer transport, storage systems, and carrier purge solutions.
  • •Partner with global site AMHS teams for real-time issue resolution, recovery playbooks, and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to improve AMHS critical metrics.
  • •Own day-to-day system performance and availability at Fab15, monitoring and improving OEE, system uptime/reliability, carrier purge efficiency, wafer logistics throughput/cycle time, and sorter/ scheduling efficiency.
  • •Optimize wafer logistics and equipment health by analyzing stocker/BWS/NTB occupancy, planning lot placement, reducing transport conflicts, and minimizing vehicle/OHT idle dwell time.
  • •Evaluate and deploy emerging AMHS automation technologies, lead supplier technical engagement and program alignment, and support system build reviews, upgrades, and modification projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related).
  • •5–10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, AMHS, or factory automation.
  • •Proven experience leading large-scale, complex automation systems in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • •Strong systems thinking with the ability to influence across organizations, geographies, and disciplines.
  • •Proficiency in scripting or programming to automate reporting, data extraction, KPI dashboards, and operational workflows.
