  • •Design and build scalable systems and infrastructure to detect, mitigate, and resolve risk issues across Airbnb’s payments platform.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of backend software engineering experience in payments/fintech.
  • •Proficiency in at least one major programming language, preferably Java/Kotlin/Python; React (or similar JS library) is a plus.
  • •Exposure to architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications, including well-designed APIs and efficient algorithms.
  • •End-to-end product delivery experience, including planning/scoping through implementation and A/B testing/experimentation.
  • •Rigor in code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
