Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead APAC content and online safety policy strategy within PSP and serve as a key regional expert on sensitive content regulation and media frameworks.
  • •Translate global policy and regulatory developments into actionable strategies and guidance for local content and product teams.
  • •Provide nuanced, context-specific advice on titles and product features from concept through launch, with emphasis on cultural sensitivities, societal norms, and regulatory constraints.
  • •Partner with Product, Tech, Legal, and Global Affairs to turn online safety regulatory developments into product and policy strategy for APAC, including monitoring safety tools, parental controls, and classification systems.
  • •Engage with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, civil society, and third-party experts; develop advocacy materials and positions and educate internal partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, International Relations, Film, Media, or a related field.
  • •15+ years of professional experience in public policy and/or content policy, with significant exposure to online safety and/or media regulation.
  • •Strong understanding of the media and entertainment ecosystem and its regulatory landscape in APAC.
  • •Demonstrated experience working with or within large, complex organizations and navigating cross-functional decision-making.
  • •Experience engaging with government bodies, industry associations, or civil society on media, tech, or online safety issues.
