Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of 6 ML engineers to deliver state-of-the-art AI for Clio’s clients, spanning traditional ML, GenAI, and agentic AI.
•Design and ship agentic systems, including retrieval, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks for reliable and safe production.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with MLOps engineering, product management, operations, and data science to identify tooling and ML/LLM-driven customer features.
•Work in an agile environment with ML engineers, ML ops, and full stack developers across multiple projects.
•Review and provide code feedback across your team and the broader engineering organization while mentoring others.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 208,000 - 312,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience managing high-performing teams (6+ ML engineers).
•In-depth understanding of LLMs and GenAI, including where the technology is heading.

•Experience fine-tuning foundational models and/or training language models in-house.
•Demonstrated success in mentorship and clear, concise communication skills in an Agile environment.
