Key Responsibilities

  • •Support corrosion control and pipeline integrity activities on a regional/system basis.
  • •Gather annual pipe-to-soil survey data, collect rectifier readings, troubleshoot rectifier units, and recommend/oversee cathodic protection improvements.
  • •Design, install, operate, and maintain cathodic protection and internal corrosion control facilities (including power lines, anodes, and internal coupons).
  • •Monitor pipeline condition using potentials, visual inspection, coupons, and data from in-line tools; oversee CIS contractors and electrical isolation issues.
  • •Document work for regulatory compliance and operating/maintenance procedures; participate in PHMSA inspections and mentor fellow employees.
