Job Summary

Drive company trucks and support daily warehouse and distribution operations at the Dalton plant. You will ship customer orders and stock transfers by verifying items and due dates, preparing documentation (picking tickets and bills of lading), and completing SBT billing. You will also receive and store materials, follow hazardous materials security requirements, maintain dock and work areas, and enforce safety rules while assisting with inventories and investigations.

Key Responsibilities

•Ship customer orders and stock transfers by following shipping schedules, staging orders, verifying items on picking tickets, and preparing bills of lading and documents.
•Bill shipments in the SBT system and ensure orders are complete or left open for backorders.
•Receive, verify, inspect, and store production materials and supplies, including documenting and coding for traceability.
•Comply with hazardous materials security requirements and federal/state/local regulations while monitoring facility access and reporting suspicious activity.
•Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in dock areas and work areas, including pre-use equipment inspections and participating in inventories/cycle counting.

Key Requirements
