Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect solar arrays to residential grid power.
  • •Ensure workmanship quality and compliance with current NEC and local codes for all electrical work.
  • •Complete solar battery installations as assigned and troubleshoot system problems to resolve electrical issues.
  • •Safely plan and complete main panel upgrades (MPU).
  • •Mentor and train other electricians, work with AHJ inspectors and crew members as an electrical subject matter expert, and address recurring quality issues to improve inspection pass rates.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 4 years of solar electrical installation and repair experience.
  • •Experience with wiring up to 1000 VDC and 480 VAC, and replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
  • •Ability to perform duties of a Certified Electrician 1.
  • •Valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification (or equivalent per local/state requirements), plus OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 and a clean driving record.
