Job Summary

Support safe pipeline and facility operations by reading and interpreting drawings, inspecting equipment, following operating/maintenance procedures, and maintaining technical and compliance standards. Analyze operational data with others to resolve technical issues, keep accurate reports/logs, and perform preventative maintenance. You’ll work in demanding environments, support on-call and shift coverage, and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays.

•Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting/supervising equipment.
•Analyze operational data and collaborate with others to resolve technical or operational problems.
•Follow company policies and apply operating and maintenance procedures.
•Adhere to safe and efficient facility operation requirements, protecting community, personnel, environment, and assets.
•Complete assigned reports/logs and maintain accurate records of process operations and preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
•Preferred: associates or a 2-year technical degree and at least two (2) years of operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry
•Ability to safely work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, enclosed spaces, and at elevated heights using required PPE
•Valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills, with proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
