Lead design-to-delivery of advanced chip-design software tools in Cadence’s Digital and Signoff Group. Collaborate with R&D and Customer Engagement to influence tool development (Innovus/Genus/Cerebrus) for IC physical design, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines across Bangalore and Noida.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and influence the development of software tools for advanced chip design platforms within the DSG group.
•Collaborate with R&D and customer engagement teams to deliver software tools that meet customer needs and design flows.
•Test, validate, and deploy Innovus software for key customers to ensure reliability and performance.
•Work with cross-functional teams including physical design, synthesis, and signoff to ensure cohesive toolchains.
•Communicate findings and next steps effectively with stakeholders and management.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of IC design and physical design flow
•Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Cadence Genus, Cadence Cerebrus with strong debug skills
•Understanding of physical design constraints (power, clock, placement, routing, timing)
•Proficiency in scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python)
•Ability to work with cross-functional teams (physical design, synthesis, signoff)
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
•Testing, validating, and deploying Innovus software for key customers
•Collaborating with R&D to discuss results and next steps for Innovus features
