Key Responsibilities

  • •Own patterns, flows, and component compositions that power product experiences across iOS, Android, and web
  • •Design and ship reusable, high-craft components with well-defined states, variants, responsiveness, and interaction models
  • •Define and maintain platform-native interaction patterns to keep experiences cohesive across surfaces
  • •Evolve Thumbprint over time and create opinionated, actionable documentation (best practices, anti-patterns, decision frameworks)
  • •Collaborate with technical and engineering partners to ensure Thumbprint works with AI-driven workflows and maintain parity between Figma components and coded implementations

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of product design experience, including meaningful time owning or evolving a design system at a product company
  • •Deep familiarity with platform conventions across iOS, Android, and web, including how apps are structured and shaped interaction design
  • •Strong craft for visual and component work; build polished, production-ready components designed to scale
  • •Expert-level Figma skills, including component architecture, variables, tokens, and auto-layout
  • •Comfort with design-to-code workflows and tooling (Storybook, design tokens, GitHub) plus strong written documentation skills
