Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the commercial data science roadmap end to end in collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer and aligned to the Payer pillar.
  • •Lead proactive strategic analyses for the Chief Commercial Officer and Headway’s most important accounts.
  • •Serve as a watchtower for key metrics across commercial agreements, surfacing risks and opportunities early.
  • •Enable self-service analytics by building definitions, dashboards, and reusable analytical assets for the commercial team.
  • •Serve as technical lead for other commercial data scientists, providing technical review, mentorship, and raising rigor while translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 212,000 - 265,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • •Expert fluency in SQL and strong proficiency in Python or R, including building reliable, reusable analytical workflows.
  • •Experience with forecasting and causal inference, including common failure modes and how to design around them.
  • •Significant go-to-market experience is strongly preferred.
  • •Proven success partnering cross-functionally with Commercial, Payer, Finance, Product, and Operations teams.
