Loss Mitigation Consultant

Review and interpret mortgage-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Work with distressed borrowers through assistance requests and the foreclosure process, coordinate with attorneys, and provide risk mitigation guidance. Analyze borrower response packages to determine next steps, support risk rating and accrual recommendations, and partner with managers and stakeholders while engaging regulators and auditors on regulatory topics.
