Job Summary

Learn the Customer Delivery Specialist role by training to safely operate a delivery vehicle and complete end-of-shift customer service. During training, you will master DOT-compliant pre- and post-trip inspections, safe driving for routes, and accurate store deliveries. You’ll also unload, merchandise, rotate, and maintain product displays while following DOT/FMCSA and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct pre- and post-trip truck inspections per DOT requirements and report problems to the Fleet department.
•Safely drive and maneuver trucks with gross vehicle weight under or over 26,000 pounds.
•Service scheduled customers by end of shift and deliver product to stores, including promotions.
•Unload, merchandise, and rotate products in accounts to PBV and customer standards (e.g., filling shelves/coolers, building displays, refilling, removing out-of-date products).
•Follow DOT and FMCSA regulations and company rules, establish relationships at accounts, and obtain required signatures/store stamps for invoice settlement.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment.
•Ability to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and a CDL by 45 business days from hire date if not currently held.
•Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete heavy physical labor for extended periods; strong communication and customer satisfaction focus.
