Job Summary

Provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care while maintaining high professional performance. Ensure evidence-based treatment and adherence to medical ethics, hospital by-laws, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations. Lead departmental quality planning, conduct multidisciplinary ward rounds, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within specialty scope, and oversee appropriate referrals and on-call patient care. Serve in continued medical education, training, committee participation, supervision of junior staff, and accurate patient recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care within professional competence and clinical privileges, ensuring superior quality treatment with compassion.
•Apply evidence-based medicine and practices aligned with clinically valid standards, guidelines, and criteria.
•Conduct regular ward rounds and formulate multi-disciplinary treatment plans; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the specialty range.
•Participate in on-call rota, respond to emergencies, and manage patient assessment, referral, and acceptance of referrals.
•Maintain accurate medical records, supervise junior staff, support departmental quality improvement and infection control activities, and actively participate in CME and training.

Key Requirements

•Required education: American Board, Canadian Fellowship, MRCP, or equivalent.
•Minimum five (5) years experience post qualification.
•Current valid license to practice medicine in the specialty.
•Registration in Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and/or current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
•Current clinical privileges and competence within the specialty scope.
