Key Responsibilities

•Review work orders and respond to emergency calls with the right tools and equipment; use SAP to create work orders and interpret technical documents (blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals).
•Monitor machinery, troubleshoot mechanical equipment, replace and reassemble faulty parts, test for proper functionality, and perform preventive maintenance across plant systems.
•Fabricate replacement parts when necessary using welding, cutting, and sheet metal work.
•Install and maintain equipment and utilities, including mechanical equipment, piping, and electrical controls, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specs and local safety regulations.
•Follow company safety protocols, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Salary: USD 22.75 - 26.75 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, or 4 years of direct maintenance experience.
•Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree in a technical maintenance or vocational program (preferred).
•Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions, and to read/execute work orders and equipment manuals.
