Job Summary

Help steer and assess the Information Security compliance maturity of Allianz entities worldwide within the Digital Resilience as a Service team. You will review security compliance self-assessments with deep technical focus (application, cryptography, network, endpoint, cloud), monitor and report non-compliances, and provide subject-matter expertise to challenge technical controls. The role also supports global security initiatives and continuous improvement of functional monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with business units and key functions to ensure steering and governance aligned with Group Information Security policies.
•Conduct in-depth reviews and interviews on Information Security compliance self-assessments across Allianz entities globally, focusing on technical security controls.
•Proactively monitor and report non-compliances and control deficiencies related to information security risks, providing technical expertise during compliance assessments.
•Serve as a technical subject-matter expert within the Functional Monitoring team, guiding colleagues on complex technical domains and best practices.
•Facilitate OE user-group discussions and support global Information Security initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical knowledge in one or more domains such as application security, cryptography, network security, cloud security, identity and access management, or endpoint protection.
•Experience implementing regulatory/industry information and cyber security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, DORA, NIS2).
•Practical experience and relevant certifications in information security governance and management systems (e.g., CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
•Fluent in English; proficiency in a second major language (e.g., German, Italian, French) is a plus.
•Ability to assess and challenge the design and effectiveness of technical security controls and translate findings into risk-based language for senior stakeholders.
