Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, coordinating with team leaders, project managers, and customers. Use blueprints and engineering specifications with tools and cutting-edge technology to diagnose and repair units, while maintaining safety standards and accountability of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand installation and repair requirements on-site.
