Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I by completing a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively reach customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools, partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment), and support teller and platform-staff responsibilities while maintaining risk and ethics standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding and education rotations (operations plus Sales & Service) and pass program certification to perform as a Retail Personal Banker I.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools, set appointments for periodic financial reviews, and conduct outside sales activities.
•Process teller transactions and act as platform staff while referring customers to business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) for holistic solutions.

Salary: USD 43,680 - 69,900 annually

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
