Job Summary

Senior Accountant at Instawork will support month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, assist with audits, and drive automation of accounting processes using data analytics and AI-enabled solutions. Key Responsibilities

•Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
•Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.
•Assist with the annual audit process; readiness and execution, including preparation of supporting audit schedules and account reconciliations.
•Review and research technical accounting issues and drive to resolution.
•Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Biz Ops (Analytics), Product, IT and Legal teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 125,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA strongly preferred.
•5+ years of accounting experience; mix of public accounting or public company and industry experience preferred.
•Experience with NetSuite is desired.
•Strong understanding of GAAP-compliant accounting policies, procedures and financial statements.
•Excellent communication and organization skills; pro-active, detail-oriented and able to handle ambiguity.
