Key Responsibilities

•Lead the data center HVAC system design, including heat rejection, airflow management, humidity control, and system redundancy to ensure concurrent maintainability and energy efficiency
•Select appropriate cooling systems for data centers (CRACs, CRAHs, DX, in-row, containment) based on facility requirements and critical equipment
•Identify cooling/heating loads using software such as HAP, Tracer 3d, EESV, and CYPE and develop system architecture and P&IDs
•Prepare specifications, drawings, calculation reports, technical reports, and installation details for HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems; model systems in Revit and review model drawings for quality
•Coordinate with other disciplines (Navisworks clash checks) to avoid interferences and ensure integrated project delivery

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering + 8 years or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in data center projects
•Excellent knowledge of data center Tier Standard Topology as per Uptime Institute, TIA 942, ANSI/BICSI 002
•Experience with calculation software such as HAP, Tracer 3d, EESV, and/or CYPE
•Experience in design and analysis of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems for data centers, industrial and institutional use
•Experience with Revit to create 3D BIM models, adherence to Levels of Development (LOD)
