Job Summary

Design and optimize nanotechnology process flows for novel photonics devices, including Augmented Reality displays. Collect and analyze process data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot yield, quality, and reliability issues with limited supervision. Partner with design, process, and equipment teams to define integration strategies and roadmaps, transfer technology from R&D to high-volume manufacturing, and maintain process integration documentation and SOPs. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

•Collaborate with design, process, and equipment engineers to define and implement process integration strategies and methodologies.
•Conduct characterization and studies to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process flow, yield, and quality issues.
•Analyze and interpret data to optimize and improve process performance; design and generate simple test macro layout.
•Drive continuous improvement and support seamless transfer of technology from R&D to high-volume manufacturing while maintaining process documentation and SOPs.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
•8+ years of work experience in process integration, preferably R&D within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
•Strong understanding of nanotechnology processes including lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, and metrology.
•Proficiency in statistical data analysis and process optimization/control techniques (e.g., Design of Experiments, SPC, JMP).
•Ability to read layout files (e.g., GDS and OASIS) and familiarity with optical proximity correction (OPC) methodologies; optics principles and photonic components knowledge is desirable.
