Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide management, training, and delegation for a team of pipeline schedulers.
  • •Interpret tariff and company policy for nominations, meter allocations, customer service, and scheduling of natural gas transportation/storage.
  • •Oversee daily scheduling tasks for transportation and storage services using DART across day and night teams.
  • •Monitor point flows and manage SOX processes for customer imbalances, including transportation and OBA-related balancing agreements.
  • •Serve as management contact for shippers, point operators, pipeline field personnel, and Gas Control on interconnect issues; coordinate issue communication and customer resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • •3+ years of experience in the pipeline industry, ideally with operations/nomination/confirmation/scheduling processes.
  • •Understanding of natural gas pipeline operations and Kinder Morgan’s DART Scheduling system.
  • •Working knowledge of one or more Kinder Morgan Interstate Pipeline tariffs focused on scheduling services, plus NAESB Standards related to nominations, confirmations, and scheduling.
  • •Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to analyze complex issues and manage a demanding workload.
